Course Objectives
Course Objectives
1. Participants will be determine the appropriate ergonomic assessment to be used, interpret the results and root cause, and apply problem solving techniques to identify potential resolutions.
2. Participant will be able to describe the development and signs and symptoms of a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD).
3. Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the role of ergonomic risk factors in the development of MSDs.
4. Participants will demonstrate the understanding of anthropometrics and ergonomic design and its application.
5. Participants develop an understanding of multiple ergonomic analysis methods at their disposal and will develop their own “Ergonomic Toolbox”.
6. Workshop participants will apply the concepts taught the previous two days in real life situations utilizing video and mock workstations.

ONLINE BCPE Test Prep Course

Brief Description
Course Objectives
This course will be over a number of weeks instead of the standard two day program. It is the same information with significant additonal study materials and sections for independent study. The goal of this multiple week course is to truely prepare the student to sit for the BCPE CEA, CPE, CHFP exam.
You will have an individualized mentored program with one of the instructors. You will also be able to attend online conference with other students.
For each learning section you will be provided a short narrated powerpoint presentation as an introduction to the learning section, given access to readings to complete for each learning section, spend time in a group online forum where you can present questions, issues, or disuss the topic areas with the group and instructors followed by a short multiple choice or essay based exam at the end of each section.
The instructor/student forums are a key to the successful completion of the course, thus you will benefit most from participation.
You will need to download Skype and be familar with its use prior to the group discussions.
The instructors for this course are Sam Bradbury MAOM, ATC, CEA, IMC and Mark Heidebrecht MEd, CEA, ACSM.
Courses will be open registration and will progress sequentially based on demonstrated knowledge and passing scores on section exams.
