 Ergo-Online, LLC has provided training for individuals pursuing certification by the Board of Certified Ergonomists, the BCPE, since 1998.
We currently offer two training formats, each complements the other. Our traditional two day seminar focuses on the identification of individual participant strengths and weaknesses of specific topic areas and the development of an individualized study plans.
Our Online Academy, presents the same information for certification in a more detailed but manageable online format. The same fourteen modules that are taught in the seminar course are divided up into numerous and smaller 10 to 15 minute, “learning chunks” that can be easily completed and more readily retained by the working individuals.
In addition to preparing individuals for certification by the BCPE, we also offer our Ergo-Online Ergonomics Certificate Program. The certificate program is a specifically designed ergonomic credential; designed by individual corporations based on internal best practices and international standards. The certificate program allows a company to pick and choose the core competencies they understand are important for their specific internal ergonomics program, leaders and processes. By combining these internal expectations with solid competencies emphasizing the International Ergonomic Associations recommendations, the company is able to turn experienced workers into internally credentialed ergonomics professionals and valuable assets.
For example, you may have some individuals involved with redesigns who need to be competent in Control Panels & Displays; while another group may need more emphasis on Musculoskeletal Disorders and Environmental Conditions. We can work with you and your teams to design a specific certificate program to meet those needs while ensuring the core educational foundation allows cross over staffing capabilities in general areas.

Depending on your program requirements, we also have the ability to monitor students throughout the learning process. Some of the metrics we can monitor include: the number of modules completed, the time spent in each module, total time and dates of access, as well as, the expected module test results and essay based critical thinking processes reviews.
